Who runs Bethlehem Porta Potty?

There is no call center, no sales floor and no partner hauler between you and the person who shows up.

What equipment do you run?

We run PolyJohn PJN3 standard units in blue, gray and pink, PolyJohn PJN3 Fresh Flush deluxe units in white with the sink inside, PolyJohn We'll Care III wheelchair-accessible units, PolyJohn Bravo two-sink hand wash stations, 250-gallon portable holding tanks, and two-station restroom trailers with heat and air conditioning. The service truck is a vacuum unit with a 25-foot hose and a hand dolly for tight placements.

Every photo on this site is our own equipment in the Lehigh Valley. Specs on the unit pages come from PolyJohn's product pages and are linked there.

How do you work with the City of Bethlehem and the townships?

We have placed units under City of Bethlehem Special Event permits, Engineering Bureau right-of-way permits, Bethlehem Township and Lower Saucon Township event applications, Lehigh County Parks special event permits and Northampton County pavilion permits. We know the restroom language in each form and we fill in the provider section for you. We also meet the Bethlehem Bureau of Health hand-washing rule for food vendors.

None of that is legal advice; the permit office has the final word. But you will not be the first person to ask us how a form works.

About the company

Are you the same company as Bethlehem Porta Potty?

Bethlehem Porta Potty is the trade name of Martin Rental Works. Invoices, the truck and the DEP transporter registration carry the Martin Rental Works name; the website carries the name people search for.

Do you subcontract deliveries?

No. Every delivery and service visit is our own truck and our own driver. When we are booked out we say so and give you the next date, rather than reselling the job.

Can I visit the yard?

The yard at 312 Brodhead Ave is a working lot, not a showroom, but you are welcome to come look at a unit before a wedding or event. Call first so someone is there; hours are Mon–Sat 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Are you insured?

General liability and commercial auto certificates are available for venues, general contractors and the City of Bethlehem's right-of-way permit (which requires $1,000,000 naming the City). Ask when you book and we email the certificate the same day.

Where does the waste go?

To a permitted wastewater treatment plant, as Pennsylvania's retaining-tank rules require. The truck carries the PA DEP septage transporter number on both sides.
