Where should I put the porta potty?
Choose firm, level ground within 25 feet of where a 26,000-pound truck can park, with 12 feet of width and 13 feet of overhead clearance on the approach. Keep units off public sidewalks and streets unless you hold a City of Bethlehem Engineering permit, 10 feet from fire hydrants, and clear of overhead lines. Downwind of seating, door facing the path.

What happens on delivery day?
The driver calls 30 minutes before arrival, places the unit where your notes say, levels and stakes it if the ground is exposed, checks the tank charge, tissue and sanitizer, locks the hasp if you asked for one, and texts you a photo of the placed unit. You do not need to be there if the path is clear. Lehigh Valley windows are 7 AM to 4 PM; same-day orders placed before noon arrive that afternoon.
Delivery outside the Lehigh Valley runs on route days: Fridays for the Poconos, Carbon County and Upper Bucks; Tuesday or Thursday for Reading, Montgomery County and Hazleton; by appointment for Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Lancaster, Harrisburg, York and the Philadelphia suburbs.
What does weekly servicing include, and how do I request extra service?
Weekly service on 28-day rentals includes pumping the tank, pressure-washing the interior, wiping the seat and urinal, restocking two tissue rolls and sanitizer, recharging the deodorizer, checking the latch and vent, and signing the log card. Extra visits are $35 per unit; twice-weekly service is $45 per unit per week. Text or call before 3 PM for next-day service.
Event units are delivered clean and pumped after pickup. A mid-event refresh for long parties and festivals is $35 per unit and takes about ten minutes per unit.
How do extensions, changes and pickup work?
To extend, keep the unit; weekend rentals that run past four days move to the two-week rate and 28-day rentals renew automatically at the lower renewal rate, never with a second delivery fee. To change the address, unit type or quantity, call before 3 PM the day before delivery. To end the rental, request pickup by 3 PM; we collect within two business days and billing stops that day.
Cancellation. Full refund when you cancel by 3 PM the business day before delivery. After the truck is loaded, the $65 delivery fee is charged. Weather cancellations follow the same rule. Full terms on the rental terms page.
How the rental works: questions people ask
What information do you need to book?
Six things: the delivery ZIP or address, delivery and pickup dates, unit type, quantity, how many guests or workers, and a phone number. For events we also ask whether alcohol or food is involved; for jobsites, the gate situation and the superintendent's cell.
Do you need a deposit?
Event rentals are paid in full by card at booking, with the charge posted the day of delivery. 28-day rentals pay the first cycle and the delivery fee at booking; renewals are charged on day 29. Commercial accounts move to net-15 invoicing after the first paid cycle.
How far from the truck can the unit go?
25 feet on firm ground with our hose and dolly, up to 100 feet on a paved path if you ask when booking. A standard unit weighs 175 pounds empty and rolls on a dolly; the accessible unit weighs 675 pounds and goes where the truck can back to.
Can I move the unit myself after delivery?
A standard unit can be slid a few feet on its skid by two people on flat ground, but tipping it with liquid in the tank makes a mess you own. Ask us to move it on the next service visit instead; relocation during a scheduled stop is free.
What if nobody can let the driver in?
The driver calls when 30 minutes out and again at the gate, then waits 15 minutes. A failed delivery or pickup costs $65. A gate code, a hidden key or an unlocked gate on delivery day avoids it.
How do I stop the billing on a 28-day rental?
Call, text or email for pickup by 3 PM. We remove the unit within two business days and billing ends the day of pickup. We do not auto-pickup at the end of a cycle, and we do not prorate a partial cycle.
What should I do before pickup?
Nothing to the unit itself. Clear the path, unlock the gate, and move vehicles from the loading side. If the unit has been used for anything other than its purpose (construction debris, paint, chemicals), tell us so the driver brings the right equipment; disposal of foreign material is charged at cost.
